Ofgem have announced new solar PV Feed in Tariff rates that will take effect from January 1st 2015. The new solar PV tariff rates will apply for the first quarter of 2015 and see rates for all bands under 50kW reduced. Rates for solar PV installations with a capacity of 4kW or less will be reduced from the current 14.38 p/kWh to 13.88 p/kWh. The other bands up to 50 kWh see a similar 3.5% reduction in tariff rates. The lower rate across all bands remains untouched.
