New solar PV Feed in Tariff rates come into effect from July 1st 2014. Rates remain unchanged for lower capacity installations that apply to the bulk of domestic installs under the Feed in Tariff. The lower rate tariff, which applies where EPC requirements are not met, has gone down in all bands from 6.61 p/kWh to 6.38 p/kWh. There has also been degression in all the bands for installs over 50kW in capacity. These larger capacity bands see reductions of 3.5% in line with the automatic degression mechanism.
