Solar Feed in Tariff Changes, April 2014

by

Ofgem has announced changes to the solar pv Feed in Tariff rates for the second quarter of 2014. Rates for installations under 50kW will decrease from April 1st with the higher rate for installs of 4kW or less going from 14.90 p/kWh to 14.38 p/kWh. The new rates will take effect from April 1st 2014 and have been adjusted by the annual RPI rate of 2.7 percent.

These changes apply to systems that are installed and have an eligibility date on or after April 1st 2014. There is still time to lock in the current lower rate if you are considering solar for your home and can have your install completed this quarter.
