On July 12th, 2013 the government announced details of the proposed domestic RHI. The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a government scheme to incentivise the move to renewable energy sources for heating. The RHI has been in place since 2011 for non-domestic properties and is the first tariff scheme of it’s kind for renewable heat. The domestic Renewable Heat Incentive will see the scheme extended to householders and is due to come into place in the spring of 2014. We created this infographic to summarise what is proposed for the domestic scheme. You can also get more detail in our Guide to the Renewable Heat Incentive.
